Equipped with the same ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC Technology found in audio interfaces costing thousands, the M6 audio interface delivers an astonishing 120 dB Dynamic Range on its main outputs. ESS converters also drive the headphone outputs, rivaling dedicated headphone amplifiers costing hundreds. The M6 provides best-in-class speed for monitoring live inputs (mic, guitar or keyboard) through your computer, thanks to MOTU's expertly engineered USB drivers, which deliver class-leading, ultra-low 2.5 ms Round Trip Latency (32 sample buffer at 96 kHz). When recording and mixing, the M6's full color LCD with clear, detailed level meters for all inputs and outputs ensures you achieve optimum levels, providing professional-level volume control and feedback to get your sound just right.

For live streaming and podcasting, the M6 driver offers convenient loopback channels to your host computer, allowing you to easily route computer output back to the computer and mix it with up to four mics (and/or guitars) from the M6 in your host software. Streaming and podcasting has never been easier and better-sounding. Additionally, the M6 is the only audio interface in its class to offer A/B monitor switching, enabling you to quickly check your mixes on two different pairs of monitors.

Driven by ESS Sabre32 DAC Technology, the M6's professional-grade headphone outputs monitor the signal on Monitor Outs 1-2 and feature independent volume control. The second headphone output includes a 3-4 switch that allows it to independently monitor Line Outs 3-4, which can have a completely separate mix from the computer.

Bundled with the M6 are Performer Lite and Live Lite 11 software, providing everything you need to record, edit, mix, process and master your own music tracks quickly and easily. Performer Lite includes over 100 instruments, dozens of effects plug-ins, guitar FX processing, 6 GB of loops and sounds, while Live Lite 11 offers a lightweight version of Ableton Live 11 with all of Live's essential workflows, instruments and effects.

The M6 can also be powered using the included multi-blade international DC power adapter when the computer is turned off or completely disconnected, allowing you to monitor any live inputs (mics, guitars, keyboards, etc.) without a host computer or iOS device. Rugged metal construction throughout, including a solid yet lightweight extruded aluminum alloy shell, steel faceplates, precision-knurled knobs, and a universally compatible Kensington security slot, ensures the M6's durability.
